We’re Moving!

From the afternoon of October 11 through the morning of the 14th, the AASLH office will be closed as we move to a new office space. We have been in our current Nashville offices for over 15 years and it’s time for a little upgrade. Our website and member database will be unaffected by the move, so you can still sign up for events and access your account. We will not be reachable by phone during this time. Please send any requests by email, and we will address them as soon as we get a chance.

Our new address is:
2021 21st Avenue South, Suite 320
Nashville, TN 37212

Our new space is in the historic St. Bernard Convent and Academy, located in the Hillsboro Village neighborhood of Nashville. The convent was built in 1905 by the Sisters of Mercy, who moved from Rhode Island to Tennessee in the second half of the 19th century to start the school. At the time of construction, the building was very modern; nuns and students enjoyed steam heat, electric lights, and telephones. The academy downsized and moved to a new location in 1989. The nuns moved out shortly afterwards in 1991, and the building was converted to offices. We hope you will stop by and see us in our new home the next time you are in Nashville.
