Call for Proposals

The Program Committee of the Mutual Concerns of Air and Space Museums Conference is seeking session proposals for their November 2018 meeting in Tucson, AZ. As always, we are seeking session proposals on topics or issues relevant to our community of museums and aerospace education centers. The strength of the conference agenda is dependent on thoughtful and well-rounded proposals we receive. We thank you in advance for the time and effort you put forth to prepare proposals. The Program Committee will work to balance the agenda with sessions related to a variety of museum departments as well as issues facing both small museums and large institutions.

We will be looking for proposals that do more than simply “show and tell” what the speakers have done at their museums. Proposals that present new approaches along with outcomes (good and bad), foster conversations on challenges, and offer resources and/or how-to guides will be evaluated most favorably by the committee.

Proposals are due March 16, and panelists will be notified of acceptance by June 15.
